Alverde Apricot and Calendula Scrub

Alverde is one of my favorite cosmetic brands out there focusing on clean vegan ingredients that also (very pleasantly) falls within an affordable range of prices. All of their products are created and sold by dm-drogerie markt – a charming retail chain popular in Europe.

I have been captivated by Alverde for quite some time now and what I like the most is the fact that none of their products contains artificial/synthetic scents, colorings, preservatives, nor substances based on mineral oil. Further to that they are all sourced by a controlled bio-friendly farming and manufacturing.

If I had to choose a particular Alverde product, this would most definitely be the Apricot and Calendula Scrub. In few words, this scrub is pure magic for my skin :) It has light texture, nice natural scent and very gentle exfoliating properties. This combination is heavenly to use – the scrub glides easily on the skin leaving it smooth and nourished. If you are looking for a harsher effect on your skin, this scrub might not be for you but it is just fine for my preferences.

How I use it is once or twice a week, depending on the needs of my skin, I take a small amount of the scrub (around the size of a hazelnut nut) and apply it with circular motions on my face and neck. I exfoliate for a minute or two and then rinse with warm water.

Ingredients: Aqua, Alcohol*, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Glycerin, Silica, Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil*, Coco-Glucoside, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter*, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil*, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract*, Tilia Cordata Flower Extract*, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Parfum**, Xanthan Gum, Linalool**, Limonene**

*ingredients from certified organic agriculture

**from natural essential oils

Let me know what your favorite scrub is? :)
